The Hellenic Organization of Cultural Resources Development (ODAP) issues special categories of publications including periodicals and monographs, i.e. scientific papers accompanied by extensive abstracts. The Organization publishes also Conference Proceedings, Scientific Catalogues related to exhibits and/or archaeological finds and Honorary Volumes, i.e. publications honouring the work of distinguished archaeologists, professors of archaeology, professors emeriti or prominent curators of antiquities (Honorary Ephors of Antiquities).
The Directorate
As part of its tasks, the competent Directorate also produces special publications, such as application dossiers for the inclusion of ancient monuments in the World Heritage List, which the Ministry of Culture submits to UNESCO, catalogues for temporary archaeological exhibitions organized by museums, as well as archaeological guides and leaflets for free distribution to visitors at 169 archaeological sites and museums.
