The Human Resources Department is at the core of human resource management. It is responsible for the rational management of human resources, for upgrading their skills, and addressing employees’ demands.
In order to fulfil its responsibilities, the Department handles the recruitment, reassignment, transfer and secondment of personnel, following the procedures imposed by the applicable institutional framework. It is responsible for keeping the employees’ personal files on matters related to recruitment, leaves of absence and career development, maintaining staff registers, planning the staffing needs of various services, applying disciplinary measures, providing information and data to competent authorities, managing the establishment of Councils, Working Groups and Committees, etc.
