Directorate for Internal Organization and Operation

The Directorate for Internal Organization and Operation is a key unit in the management of matters related to human resources (staffing, HR management), general procurement of goods and services for the proper functioning of the Organization, IT, telecommunications, and material resource management.

More specifically, the purpose of the Directorate is to ensure the proper functioning of the Hellenic Organization of Cultural Resources Development (ODAP) through adequate staffing, appropriate procurement and modernisation of procedures within the framework of an integrated e-government policy, making the best use of ODAP’s infrastructure and networks, ensuring their interoperability and improving the productive operation of the Organization. In order to accomplish this, since the adoption of Law 4761/2020 the Directorate has been vested with the following powers: to handle matters related to ODAP’s staff; make suggestions to the competent Staff Council; promote policies for rational management and optimal use of ODAP’s human resources; supply and manage the material resources and equipment required for the effective operation of ODAP; promote and implement an integrated e-government policy; and continually upgrade ODAP’s infrastructure and networks.

The Directorate consists of four departments: the Human Resources Department, the Procurement Department, the Material Resources Management Department, the Information Systems and Infrastructure Department.
